Bank Construction Draws

Home / Banks / Bank Construction Draws
Construction Draw Inspections include a monthly site inspection to provide a review of the contractor’s payment request and to evaluate the accuracy of the representations made in each line item of the contractor’s sworn statement. The draw inspection will evaluate the accuracy of the draw request, construction phase completion, and stored materials on site and off. NBI maintains a highly qualified network of inspectors throughout North America. NBI inspectors are the local ‘boots on the ground’ for the project, verifying all construction work is in place per the plans and specifications prior to the release of funds.

When NBI receives a draw request, a professionally engineered inspection report is sent to a qualified inspector in that area; the inspector completes the inspection and report within 24 hours indicating the percentage of completion per line item or stage and includes comments and a complete photo log. The completed report is then forwarded to NBI corporate for verification whereby our in house staff reviews all photos and information for content and comprehensiveness. NBI corporate then forwards the completed report onto the lending institution with recommendations on the requested draw. Much of NBI’s success is dependent upon the quality, timeliness, and professionalism of the inspector. Therefore, NBI corporate monitors their inspectors on every phase of the inspection and report.

Construction Monitoring Services can be performed by NBI for all lending institutions throughout North America no matter the size. Construction Monitoring Services include regular site visits to provide a quality overview of project status. Included in each visit, are regular interviews with on-site project managers and developers, a review of the contractor’s payment request and associated invoices, as well as an evaluation of the accuracy of the representations made in each line item of the contractor’s statements.
